To elevate our Corporate Responsibility efforts, we work with BSR, a leader in Corporate Responsibility that works with a global network of more than 250 member companies to develop sustainable business strategies and solutions.
We are focused on continuously improving our CR performance and making a real difference. We’re especially proud of our long association with our charity of choice, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Through the outstanding, devoted work of the Foundation, and its signature program -- Wendy’s Wonderful Kids -- thousands of children mired in the North America foster care system are successfully being united with permanent families in loving homes.

Foster care adoption was close to the heart of our founder, Dave Thomas, and his passion has inspired us to follow in his footsteps. Through our Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, more than 4,000 children in foster care have found their forever family.
With more than 125,000 children from North America foster care systems anxiously waiting for adoption, we’re driven to help every child find a family. That’s why Wendy’s employees, our franchise system and suppliers raise more than $10 million annually.
Through our annual Community Ambassador Grant Program, we recognize employees who are going “above and beyond” by volunteering their time and energies to better the communities where they live and work.
Wendy’s believes in giving customers the tools to make food choices that are right for them. We’ve provided detailed nutrition information for many years, both in our restaurants and on wendys.com and now through our mobile app.
We know the journey towards a sustainable future is an on-going process and requires commitment. From energy efficient appliances to paper goods made from recycled materials in our restaurants, we are working to reduce our impact on the environment.
One of Wendy’s key supply chain practices centers on the humane treatment of animals where we have been recognized as a leader for many years. Efforts include stringent animal welfare audits of all of our beef, poultry and pork suppliers.
Wendy’s food tastes great because of high quality ingredients and authentic food preparation. And, we work with suppliers who value quality food as much as we do ensuring that deliveries are made to our restaurants several times a week.
